Germany is on track for 70% of their population to get covid. They expect 80% of those needing intensive care to be denied care. It’s possible the death toll with reach one million.

No one put their trash out today. I guess everyone is home tomorrow, so they’ll put it out in the morning.

Mass Changes of Routine.

We are such creatures of habit. This whole thing has completely thrown us off. Nobody even knows what day it is anymore, much less what we normally do on any given day. Even automated texts from companies we don’t want to hear from say it’s Tuesday when it’s not. But we don’t know that until we look at our phones anyway.

Aidan used his new wood chipper out back. He’s so excited about it I can hear him laughing over the sound of the engine. ZZZZZZT, it says, over and over. Spraying pieces everywhere. He even trimmed the rosebush so he’s have more things to chip. I drew the line at the super stickery bush though. If he wanted to cut something down, by all means, cut the damn thing down. I hate that stupid bush anyway. It always cuts me up when I’m trying to weed around the lilies. But no chipping. Spreading it’s little stickeries all over the yard. I want to be able to walk out there barefoot if it ever gets around to being warm.

We wonder out loud how many billions of office plants are going to die. Virginia is on lock down until June 10th now. Rich people are fleeing major cities to hide out in their summer homes in small towns. And so exposing small communities. And people are super pissed off about it. There’s a domestic travel advisory between some states now. New Jersey, New York, Connecticut. Florida is setting up checkpoints to keep New Yorkers from entering their state.

They say 30 days hath September, April, June, and November. All the rest have 31 except March which has 4,000. I think the meme is exact and I send it to my mom.
